The ISB PGP Class of 2028, which joins in 2027, has three application deadlines: September 20, 2026, December 6, 2026, and January 17, 2027 ([ISB](https://www.isb.edu/programmes/post-graduate-programmes/pgp-in-management/application-deadlines), 2026). Round 1 has closed, so most applicants reading this now are choosing between Round 2 and Round 3. This guide covers every date, what happens after each deadline, and how to plan your GMAT around them.

Key Takeaways

- ISB PGP Round 2 closes on December 6, 2026, and Round 3 closes on January 17, 2027 ([ISB](https://www.isb.edu/programmes/post-graduate-programmes/pgp-in-management/application-deadlines), 2026).

- ISB says competition is the same in every round, but applying earlier gives you more time for financing and logistics.

- You can submit an unofficial GMAT or GRE score if you took the test on or before your round's deadline.

## What are the ISB PGP application deadlines for 2027?

ISB runs three rounds for the PGP Class of 2028. Each round's application opens about two months before its deadline, and ISB cannot accept any Class of 2028 applications after January 17, 2027 ([ISB](https://www.isb.edu/programmes/post-graduate-programmes/pgp-in-management/application-deadlines), 2026).

| Round | Application deadline | Status as of October 2026 |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Round 1** | September 20, 2026 | Closed |
| **Round 2** | December 6, 2026 | Open |
| **Round 3** | January 17, 2027 | Opens before the deadline (final round) |

2

## When will ISB interview you and announce results?

Each round has its own interview window and decision date. ISB describes these as tentative, so treat them as planning guides rather than fixed appointments ([ISB](https://www.isb.edu/programmes/post-graduate-programmes/pgp-in-management/application-deadlines), 2026).

| Round | Tentative interview window | Final decision |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Round 1** | Week 2 of October 2026 to Week 2 of December 2026 | End of December 2026 |
| **Round 2** | Week 4 of December 2026 to Week 1 of February 2027 | Mid-February 2027 |
| **Round 3** | Week 1 to Week 4 of February 2027 | Mid-March 2027 |

Use these dates to plan leave for interviews, loan applications, and your notice period at work.

## Which round should you apply in?

Apply in the earliest round where your application is genuinely complete. ISB states that competition is the same across rounds, but an earlier admission leaves more time to arrange financing and relocation.

### What happens if you miss a deadline?

Your application rolls forward. Anything submitted after September 20, 2026, is considered in Round 2, and anything submitted after December 6, 2026, moves to Round 3. Incomplete applications from earlier rounds are evaluated in later rounds once you finish them.

### Can you apply more than once in the same year?

No. Each round is a separate submission window, not a stage, and you can apply only once per application year.

4

## How does ISB treat your GMAT or GRE score?

ISB requires a valid GMAT or GRE score taken at a test centre, and the score is what gets most applicants to the interview stage. You can submit an unofficial score if you took the test on or before your round's deadline. Upload the test confirmation email as a PDF, enter your approximate score, and have the official score sent to ISB through the test provider's portal ([ISB](https://www.isb.edu/programmes/post-graduate-programmes/pgp-in-management/application-deadlines), 2026).

In my view, your GMAT score is the most important number you can still improve before you submit. Do not wait until your essays are done to find out where you stand. [Start your free mock today](https://oneprep.in/signup), so you know exactly where you stand.

5

## Are you eligible for the ISB PGP?

You need a bachelor's degree in any discipline, at least two years of full-time work experience, a valid test-centre GMAT or GRE score, and TOEFL or IELTS if your undergraduate medium of instruction was not English. Selection also includes a face-to-face or online interview ([ISB](https://www.isb.edu/programmes/post-graduate-programmes/pgp-in-management/application-deadlines), 2026).

If you have less than two years of experience or are in your final year of study, look at the PGP YL programme instead. ISB has discontinued its older Young Leaders' Programme and Early Entry Option.

6

## What should reapplicants know?

If you have applied to any PGP Suite programme before, you are a reapplicant. ISB says reapplicants typically make up 20 to 25 percent of the applicant pool and are evaluated with no advantage or disadvantage. You pay a reduced fee, write a dedicated reapplicant essay, and must complete the full application again ([ISB](https://www.isb.edu/programmes/post-graduate-programmes/pgp-in-management/application-deadlines), 2026).

7

## How should you plan the next few weeks?

Work backwards from your chosen deadline. For Round 2 on December 6, 2026, you need your test score, essays, recommendations, and documents ready in roughly eight weeks. Round 3 gives you until January 17, 2027, but it is also your last chance this cycle.
