• Performance Data: Unique to OnePrep, we collect your diagnostic scores, time-per-question, "Logic Gap" analysis, and study patterns to power our Agentic AI.
• Device Data: IP address and browser type for security and Lighthouse performance optimization.

[B] Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR & DPDPA)

We explicitly define our legal grounds for processing your personal and performance data:

• Contractual Necessity: We process your data to fulfill our commitment to provide the OnePrep service as per our Terms.
• Legitimate Interest: We analyze performance metrics to improve our AI coaching algorithms and platform efficiency.
• Consent: By using the platform, you explicitly consent to the tracking of your "Logic Gaps" and study telemetry to power your personalized experience.

[C] How We Use Your Data

• To Personalize Learning: Our AI uses your performance data to generate custom "Missions."
• To Improve the AI: We use anonymized data to train our "Logic Gap" detection models.
• Communication: Sending "Daily Mission" reminders, service notifications and product updates.

[C.1] Marketing & Service Communications

When you create an OnePrep account, you provide your contact details and consent to receive communications from us. These fall into two categories:

• Transactional & Service Messages: Account verification, one-time passwords, payment and subscription receipts, security alerts, and study-progress notifications. These are essential to the operation of your account and cannot be disabled while your account remains active.
• Promotional & Marketing Messages: Information about new features, course launches, exam-prep guidance, offers, discounts, webinars, surveys and other content we believe may be relevant to your preparation.

We may deliver these communications through email, SMS, WhatsApp, voice calls, push notifications and in-app messages, using the contact details you have provided. Where required by applicable law, marketing communications are sent on the basis of the consent you give at the time of registration; elsewhere, they may be sent on the basis of our legitimate interest in informing existing users about comparable products and services.

By registering, you further confirm that you are the authorised user of the email address and phone number supplied, and you consent to being contacted at that number even if it is registered on a national Do Not Call, DND or equivalent preference registry.

Your choice: You may withdraw consent to promotional communications at any time — by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, replying STOP to an SMS or WhatsApp message, adjusting your notification preferences in account settings, or writing to us at info@oneprep.in. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal, and we will continue to send transactional and service messages necessary to operate your account.

[D] Data Retention & Deletion Schedule

To respect your study continuity while maintaining platform security, your "Student State" telemetry and performance metrics are retained for 120 days after subscription expiration or account inactivity. Following this period, data is permanently archived or deleted unless a manual deletion request is initiated by the user.

[E] Data Storage & International Transfers

Since OnePrep is a global product, your data may be stored on servers located outside of India (e.g., Google Cloud US regions). We ensure Standard Contractual Clauses are in place to protect your data under international standards.

[F] Your Rights

• Access & Correction: You can update your profile at any time.
• Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can request that we delete your account and all associated "Student State" history.
• Data Portability: Request a copy of your performance data in a machine-readable format.
